Standard TV & Appliance has been a Portland landmark since 1947. Founded at the end of World War II, the well-known storefront on SE Woodstock was opened in 1952. After numerous expansions and remodels, Standard out-grew the Woodstock store and relocated to the SE 82nd Avenue location – the largest appliance showroom in the Northwest. Standard TV & Appliance now has locations in Portland, Beaverton, Tigard and Bend, and remains Oregon based and family owned.
